Genoa have signed Antonio Sanabria from Real Betis on loan with €20m option to buy, while Andras Schafer arrives from MTK Budapest.

It has been a busy day for the Grifone, who finalised two deals this evening.

Sanabria arrived this morning to undergo his medical and put pen to paper on the contract.

It’s believed to be an 18-month loan with option to buy for €20m in June 2020.

It’s believed to be an 18-month loan with option to buy for €20m in June 2020.

Due to the deal Roma did when selling the Paraguay international to Betis, the Giallorossi will be owed 50 per cent of the fee.

Sanabria is not the only new buy, as Genoa also signed 19-year-old Hungarian midfielder Schafer from MTK Budapest for €1m, including bonuses.
