Having lost the away leg 2-1, Maurizio Sarri’s side have to beat Shakhtar tonight to avoid elimination, and they must win by any scoreline that leaves them at least level with on head-to-head.

That means a 3-2 win would not be enough to stay in contention, as Paulo Fonseca's men would have the better head-to-head record on away goals.

Despite facing such a crucial match, Canale 8 is reporting that just 15,000 tickets have been sold for tonight’s match.

The San Paolo holds around 60,000 people, so as things stand it will be about a quarter full.
