There have been insistent suggestions that the Blucerchiati could see their squad weakened going into next season, in particular after the reports that Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic may leave and take some of their best players with him.

Osti, interviewed by Gazzetta TV, confirmed some of the Doria players may be on their way out.

“[Roberto] Soriano and [Pedro] Obiang have admirers in the Premier League and in the Bundesliga, although we received no requests from Italy,” he said.

“As for our own strategy, we must take into consideration the offers for those players who still have two years left with us, while we have greater leverage with the others.

“Some important players will be sold in the next transfer window, but we're already working towards the future. We signed [Federico] Bonazzoli and [Edgar] Barreto.

“We're happy with [Emiliano] Viviano. He's on loan from Palermo and we want to make the move permanent.

“And we're working with the agents of [Matias] Silvestre and [Ezequiel] Munoz to renew both their contracts.

“[Alessio] Romagnoli has a bright future and I think he should be given playing time, either with Roma or with Sampdoria. But you've got to ask [Roma director Walter] Sabatini about the rumours linking him to Inter.”
