Sampdoria striker Francesco Caputo has passed his graduation exam and admits he felt ‘it was tougher than being face-to-face with a goalkeeper.’
The centre-forward turns 35 next month and has managed to balance his career in Serie A with studying for a degree in administration, finance and marketing.
He found the net 11 times with six assists in 36 Serie A appearances last season for the Blucerchiati.
“It went well, fortunately I shook off the tension and answered all the questions I was asked,” Caputo told Sky Sport Italia.
“It was tougher than being face-to-face with a goalkeeper in Serie A, because at least I feel at home in that situation.”
His previous clubs include Bari, Salernitana, Virtus Entella, Empoli and Sassuolo.
Good for him, nice to see footballers thinking about life after sport.
