Gianluca Vialli and Roberto Mancini broke down in tears after Italy’s UEFA Euro 2020 triumph and Sampdoria have paid tribute to their legends: ‘No words needed.’
Vialli and Mancini were the stars of the Sampdoria side that shocked Italy winning the Serie A title in 1990-91.
It remains the only Scudetto won by the Blucerchiati in their history.

Sampdoria lost the Champions League Final against Barcelona at Wembley Stadium one year later, but, 29 years later they got their revenge, becoming European Champions with the Azzurri.
Vialli and Mancini are more than friends and they broke down to tears once Gianluigi Donnarumma saved the last penalty kick, allowing Italy to win their first major tournament since the 2006 World Cup.
“We’re living in a fairy tale just like 30 years ago,” wrote Sampdoria on Twitter.
