The former Milan striker only moved to Anfield in the summer, but has struggled to make an impact for Brendan Rodgers’ side, scoring just two goals, neither of which was in the Premier League.

The former Milan striker only moved to Anfield in the summer, but has struggled to make an impact for Brendan Rodgers’ side, scoring just two goals, neither of which was in the Premier League.
According to Corriere Mercantile, with Manolo Gabbiadini on the verge of moving to Napoli, Samp will replace the forward with Super Mario.
The newspaper claims that the Blucerchiati could offer goalkeeper Sergio Romero to the Reds on a loan basis, with Balotelli being loaned the other way.
Liverpool have problems in the goalkeeping department, with Simon Mignolet being widely criticised for his recent displays.
Romero and Balotelli share an agent, Mino Raiola, and Corriere Mercantile believes that Sampdoria will move for Balotelli in an effort to push the club into securing a Champions League berth.
