However, Umberto Eusepi earned and converted a penalty to draw Alessandria level before half-time, brought down by Ronaldo Vieira.
Bonazzoli soared above the crowd to nod in a Quagliarella cross, but Alessandria fought back again for a late Lorenzo Podda equaliser on the counter-attack.
Alex Ferrari made his comeback after a long injury lay-off, having torn his anterior cruciate ligament in December.
