It is believed to have become clear that a win against Samp next Monday would assure the Coach of his position but otherwise he could pay with his job.

The likes of Marcello Lippi, Cristian Brocchi, Simone Inzaghi, Francesco Guidolin, Hamza Hamzaoglu and Murat Yakin have all been linked with the Aquile.

Gazzetta dello Sport believes Lotito might not be so patient and that a poor result against St Etienne on Thursday could be enough for Pioli to be sacked.
