Sampdoria are reportedly on the verge of completing a swoop for Torino defender Luca Rossettini for €2m.
The 32-year-old centre-back can also play on the right side of a four-man defence.
His contract is due to expire in June 2018 and, according to Genoa-based newspaper Secolo XIX, Sampdoria have made an offer worth just under €2m.
This is roughly what Toro paid to sign Rossettini from Bologna a year ago.
It’s believed he was specifically requested by Blucerchiati Coach Marco Giampaolo.
