“President Massimo Ferrero and UC Sampdoria rejected an important offer for the sale of Gianluca Caprari, having reaffirmed that the player, who we firmly believe in, is not for sale and has never been on the market,” read a statement on the club website.
“As already underlined on more than one occasion, the club has the utmost faith in this squad, with which it wants to continue this journey.
“We share it with all the fans, who we expect to arrive in large numbers at the stadium, starting from this weekend against Torino, to win together once again.”
