Sampaoli: ‘Not going to Roma’

Jorge Sampaoli calls Roma “a great team” but denies he could take over from Coach Rudi Garcia.

The Chile CT is keen to leave his post, but has not been released from his contract, which runs until 2018.

The Giallorossi are likely to have a vacancy on the bench, with Garcia set to be fired, but Sampaoli denies contact with the Lupi.

“No, I haven’t had any contact,” Sampaoli told SportMediaset at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
