The Chievo full-back had been on the verge of a move to San Siro for several weeks and appeared intent on joining the Nerazzurri even after Samp made an offer.
“I got Fernando and Zukanovic too,” Ferrero told Secolo XIX newspaper.
“I haven’t sold anyone. I am here to win, not to sell.”
