Sampdoria have reportedly agreed to buy their home of Marassi for €10m – but their ground share with Genoa will not be affected.

According to Repubblica Genova, the city of Genoa will sell the stadium to Samp and without the involvement of their arch-rivals.

It comes despite Blucerchiati chief Massimo Ferrero trying to get Grifone counterpart Enrico Preziosi on board.

Instead, Genoa are likely to become Samp’s tenants, which would see them rent the stadium from their neighbours.
