Sampdoria have announced three positive cases of coronavirus within the team group, but none of them are from first-team players.

On the eve before the home game against Lazio in Serie A, the Blucerchiati have confirmed three new cases of COVID-19.

“UC Sampdoria announce that the last series of swabs undergone by the team group revealed three asymptomatic positive tests for COVID-19,” the club wrote.

“The three members (a Primavera player and two employees) were promptly isolated according to the federal and ministerial directives.

The press conference scheduled with Claudio Ranieri has consequently been cancelled.
