Sampdoria have officially sold striker Dawid Kownacki to Fortuna Dusseldorf for a reported €7.5m.
Kownacki joined Dusseldorf on loan with option to buy, which included a counter-option for Samp.
He scored four goals in 10 Bundesliga appearances last season, helping the German side stay up.
Although he has yet to find the back of the net this term, the Pole has done enough for his loan to be made permanent.
The 22-year-old struck eight times for the Blucerchiati in 2017-18 but made no Serie A starts at all during the previous campaign.
