Sampdoria have agreed a deal to sign Chievo midfielder Mehdi Leris for around €3m plus bonuses.
ANSA reports Leris will undergo a medical with Samp on Monday morning before putting pen to paper.
The 21-year-old broke through for Chievo last season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in 24 appearances, despite their relegation.
Capable of playing as both a central midfielder or right winger, he has the choice of playing for France, Spain and Algeria at international level.
