Candreva, on the other hand, is a bolt from the blue after a proposed move to city rivals Genoa broke down just yesterday.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Inter have already accepted a bid from the Blucerchiati, with Calciomercato.com stating the former were holding out for a fee of €3-4m.

Pedulla adds the Italy international has been offered a salary worth €1.6m plus bonuses which, while being half of what he currently earns, could be spread over three or four years.
