The hosts look to maintain their unbeaten streak this weekend but these Salernitana vs. Sassuolo predictions suggest they may have a tough task on their hands. The Granata have won their last six games in a row but come up against a Neroverdi side in fine form.

Salernitana vs. Sassuolo odds

1 – Sassuolo to win– 13/10

2 – Both teams to score – 8/11

3 – Under 2.5 goals scored – 26/25

4 – Domenico Berardi to first – 5/1

5 – A draw at full-time – 13/5

Sassuolo look to cement their top ten status with a win this weekend as they go to draw masters Salernitana. The hosts are unbeaten in their last seven games including matches against Milan and Inter, which has all but cemented Paulo Sousa’s Serie A status for next season.

Despite their hosts’ undefeated run, Sassuolo go to the Stadio Arechi in full of confidence. The Neroverdi have won five of their last seven games and come into this weekend having beaten Juventus on match day 30. Sassuolo have beaten Salernitana in five of their last six encounters and we back the visitors to secure yet another three points on Saturday.

Even so, it is not likely to be an easy outing for the visitors, as evidenced by the home side’s recent results. The Granata have not failed to score in any of their last five games, with Boulaye Dia reaching double digits.

Similarly, the Neroverdi have been very consistent in front of goal, scoring in all of their last seven matches. As a result, a wager on both teams to score on Saturday afternoon may well provide a pay out.

The visitors’ goalscoring regularity has a downside however, as Alessio Dionisi’s side have failed to score more than one goal in any of their last four games. With Salernitana also failing to achieve the feat in their last three games, fans could be in for a low-scoring fixture this weekend. A wager on under 2.5 goals scored may increase the tension.

If anyone is to break the deadlock, it is likely to be Domenico Berardi. The Sassuolo captain missed last week’s win over Juventus but should start this weekend and could prove fundamental from set-pieces against a solid Salernitana defence.

Having signed Guillermo Ochoa in goal in January, the Granata have lost just four games out of 13 with their Mexican shot-stopper between the sticks. As a result, despite struggling with goalscoring, Salernitana have secured draws in their last six games and points to be shared yet again may be worthwhile.
