Salernitana return to Serie A for the first time in 23 years, securing second place in the Serie B table behind Empoli with a 3-0 win over Pescara. 

Claudio Lotito will have to step down as President of Salernitana, as they followed Empoli to the top flight.

Monza have to settle for a place in the play-off after a 2-0 defeat to Brescia, with Lecce, Venezia, Cittadella, Brescia and Chievo Verona also competing for promotion.

Monza and Lecce have qualified for the second round of the play-off. Lecce will face the winner of Venezia-Chievo and Monza will play against Cittadella or Brescia.

Pordenone won 2-0 over Cosenza and the Calabrians are thus relegated to Serie C, because the result means the play-outs will not be played.

SPAL finished ninth in the table and just missed out on a place in the play-off this season, while Cosenza followed Reggiana, Pescara and Virtus Entella to Serie C.
