According to the Daily Mail, Southampton have increased their proposal to £10.2m – around €12m – and it could be enough to trigger a sale.
The Saints have the upper hand now that they’ve appointed manager Mauricio Pochettino, who worked with Coutinho at Espanyol last term.
It would be a club record transfer for Southampton if Inter were to accept.
