Milan winger Alexis Saelemaekers said he’s ‘delighted to continue my story’ with the Rossoneri. ‘It’s a wonderful emotion’.
The Diavolo announced the Belgium international has signed a new deal until June 2026 and the 22-year-old, capped five times by the national team, looks forward to building on his 64 competitive games with Milan.
Saelemaekers thanked the fans and the great welcome he received when he arrived at San Siro in January 2020.
“Salamandra remains! I’m delighted to continue my story with this great club that has welcomed me and made me feel important immediately,” Saelemaekers wrote on Instagram.
“It’s a wonderful emotion that I want to share with all the people who have accompanied me on this journey and in particular with all the Milan fans who are special.
“I’m proud of my growth which has gone hand in hand with the team. Now, the target is always the same: work, grow and win!

I’m glad to see this renewal. Saelemaekers isn’t a top talent, but he’s good and he gives his all every game. He’s a very useful addition to the side so I’m pleased we’ve secured his future for now.
