Sacked Fiorentina boss Sinisa Mihajlovic say’s he’ll learn from his mistakes after leaving the club on Monday.

The Serbian was axed last night as the struggling Viola opted to replace him with former Palermo tactician Delio Rossi.

“I gave everything that I had,” the ex-Bologna and Catania Coach told Sky Sport Italia on Tuesday afternoon.

“It wasn’t enough though and I apologise for that. I’m really, really disappointed with what happened,” he added.

“Now I will evaluate my errors because I certainly would have committed a few.”

Mihajlovic replaced Cesare Prandelli in Tuscany during the summer of 2010 after the latter took charge of the Italian national squad.

Fiorentina are 12th in Serie A having picked up just 12 points from the 30 on offer so far.

Mihajlovic opted to stay with the club during the summer despite being offered the Inter job following Leonardo’s decision to join Paris Saint-Germain.
