Ex-Coach Ottavio Bianchi believes that Inter are on track with their project, while Napoli should not drop Rafa Benitez.
Bianchi, who coached Inter for two years over the 1994 and 1995 seasons, was interviewed by Tuttomercatoweb about the Nerazzurri's current project under Erick Thohir.
“Over the first few days [of the season] the team has met expectations,” the 70-year-old has reflected.
“Last year the foundations were laid for a new project and I'm convinced they can stay at this level for the rest of the season.

“Last year the foundations were laid for a new project and I'm convinced they can stay at this level for the rest of the season.
“I see them equipped to fight for the higher positions of the table. But it's frankly too early to say whether they can actually challenge for the title.”
Bianchi also had a few thoughts for Mateo Kovacic, who had an excellent start of the season with Inter.
“He is a bright prospect, who is growing day by day.
“With young players like him you have to show a little patience, because the positive performances can alternate themselves with the negative ones. So we must wait a little longer.”
Bianchi also coached Napoli between 1985 and 1989, and he prevaricated: “I don't know Napoli's current situation too well, so I it's impossible for me to pass judgment.
“The only thing that I do feel like saying is that I've always been convinced switching Coaches mid-season is not something that can resolve a team's problems.”
