Former Italy CT Arrigo Sacchi says PSG’s Marco Verratti ‘could become like Picasso’ and has ‘perfected the talent God gave him’.
The ex-Milan coach oversaw Verratti’s development while he was involved in the Italy youth setup and praised the player he has become.
“He’s a talent,” Sacchi told L’Equipe.
“I know him well because I was responsible for the Italy youth team and it seems to me that the PSG owner saw him during a France-Italy game in Cannes in 2012.

“This is a player of high quality. One of the most promising. Physically he isn’t impressive, but he’s intelligent and humble.
“He’s perfected the talent that God has given him – he could become like Picasso.”
