Arrigo Sacchi says it will take “something extraordinary” for Napoli to win the Scudetto, as they lack a “winning mentality”.
The Partenopei are top of Serie A following their 2-1 win over Inter on Monday, and are undefeated since the opening day of the season.
“Something extraordinary has to occur for Napoli to win the Scudetto,” Sacchi told Il Mattino.

“Even [Coach Maurizio] Sarri knows that, so no-one is asking for the impossible. There must be a reason why Fiorentina, Roma and Napoli combined don’t even have half the Scudetti won by Inter.
“There must be a reason why Napoli haven’t been top for 25 years. A winning mentality is something which is in the structure of a club, you breathe it in the air.
“How many Napoli players have won something important in their career?”
