Arrigo Sacchi is considering a return to Milan as a director, but not as a tutor for Coach Pippo Inzaghi.

The former tactician had announced his retirement a few months ago due to “stress,” the same problem that forced him to give up his coaching career.

However, Sacchi had lunch with Milan President Silvio Berlusconi, CEO Adriano Galliani and Inzaghi at the Milanello training ground.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he said he’d think about the proposal to come back to the club in a directorial role.

It’s reported that Berlusconi offered Sacchi the chance to work as a mentor to inexperienced Coach Inzaghi.

The Grande Milan tactician does not seem interested in that, but would be prepared to take control of the youth academy.

That is what he had been working on for Italy before his retirement.
