Abdelhamid Sabiri is on the verge of leaving Fiorentina even before making his debut with La Viola as the Morocco international will undergo his medical with Saudi Pro League side Al Fayha.
Fiorentina announced Sabiri’s imminent exit during their morning show ‘Buongiorno Viola Park.’ As reported by Violanews, the club’s presenter announced ‘We have sold Sabiri.’
According to several reports, including Sky Sport Italia, the ex-Sampdoria winger will join Saudi Pro League side Al Fayha. Once his medical tests are complete, Fiorentina will confirm his exit with an official statement.
Sabiri had joined Fiorentina on a permanent deal from Sampdoria earlier this summer and had yet to make his debut with the Tuscans.
Fiorentina had agreed a deal to sign the Morocco international in January, but Sabiri ended 2022-23 out on loan at Sampdoria.
The 26-year-old was part of the Morocco squad that finished third at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and had scored five goals in 32 appearances in Serie A.
