Roma President James Pallotta criticised Sabatini last night, but the former Inter patron defended him after a meeting between the two today.
“Sabatini is a clever man with great experience,” Moratti told reporters after the meeting.

“He’s moving well, we can trust him.”
Sabatini was then interviewed, and he once again aimed barbs at Pallotta.
“Nobody wants gratitude, but fairness yes. It’s better to forget about Pallotta, his words are useless.
“He throws them out there in a state of confusion and no-one needs that. Massimo Moratti’s words matter to me though, because he’s a President. A real President.”
