Bologna have reportedly reached an agreement with Shanghai SIPG forward Marko Arnautovic, as Walter Sabatini confirmed he is arriving at the Renato Dall’Ara.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano claims Arnautovic has found an agreement with Shanghai SIPG and will return to Serie A this summer.

The former Inter forward, who starred for Austria during the Euros this summer and was a constant threat for Italy during the last 16 clash at Wembley, seems set for a move to Bologna.

Sporting director Walter Sabatini confirmed the Rossoblu are close to announcing the arrival of the former West Ham striker.

“Bologna have it all, they don’t need anything,” Sabatini told Il Messaggero. “The team too. It’s good, but it lacks boldness, arrogance.

“This is why we will sign Arnautovic, he’s brawler and I like brawlers.”

The 32-year-old moved to Shanghai in July 2019, after stints with FC Twente, Werder Bremen, Stoke City and West Ham.

Arnautovic has played 90 games with Austria during his career and has contributed 27 goals for with national team.
