Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, hopes Arturo Vidal will arrive from Juventus but ‘still can’t confirm’ the transfer.
The Chilean midfielder is believed to have agreed terms on a €6.5m per year contract with Bavarian outfit, with the Bianconeri set to receive around €40m between a transfer fee and bonuses.
“I still can’t confirm anything with Vidal,” Rummenigge told reporters before boarding a flight to Turkey.

“I still can’t confirm anything with Vidal,” Rummenigge told reporters before boarding a flight to Turkey.
“We have to wait. We’ll definitely make a move before the close of the transfer market.”
Vidal was close to joining Bayern before opting for Juventus in 2011, but Rummenigge insists it was Bayer Leverkusen who blocked the move.
“Reschke [Bayern’s technical director, formerly of Leverkusen] told the truth about 2011. Leverkusen prevented the deal.
“I hope Vidal will join us in the end.”
