Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says it’d be ‘a dream outcome’ this season for Bayern Munich to win the Champions League and Inter the Europa League.

“I saw that Inter are doing very well in the Europa League and deservedly beat Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter-final,” Rummenigge told Sky Sport Italia.

“I saw that Inter are doing very well in the Europa League and deservedly beat Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter-final,” Rummenigge told Sky Sport Italia.
“I really liked them, the important thing isn’t just signing star names, but playing good football. It’d be a dream outcome for me if Bayern won the Champions League and Inter the Europa League.”
Bayern are the new Champions League favourites after their 8-2 demolition of Barcelona.
“I went into the dressing room after the game and expected to see the lads celebrating a glorious victory, but they were really calm, concentrated and preparing for the next match. They really want to offer attacking football and achieved that in an incredible way last night.
“There’s a rare alchemy between the coach and the players, as since Hansi Flick took control, it’s all completely changed and with a spectacular style of football.”
Ivan Perisic is on loan from Inter to Bayern Munich and it’s yet to be decided if he’ll make the move permanent.
“Ivan has had a good season and is very reliable. He doesn’t necessarily do something spectacular, but statistically he does show up with goals and assists. Flick is really counting on him.
“We really appreciated that when we qualified for the Final Eight of the Champions League, he, Philippe Coutinho and the others on loan agreed to remain even with a pay cut.
“We haven’t decided yet if he’s staying, but the coach and I really like him.”
