Rui Patricio is set to join Roma next week, with the Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper cutting his summer vacation short so he can start work with Jose Mourinho.

The Giallorossi began pre-season training today and completed the transfer of Rui Patricio to Olympique Marseille, on loan with option to buy that becomes an obligation after 20 games.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the deal is practically done and Wolves will eventually accept circa €11m plus bonuses.

Portugal international Rui Patricio, who was taking part in UEFA EURO 2020 with his country, is even prepared to cut his vacation short by a week in order to get started with Mourinho.

It’s suggested the 33-year-old will meet up with the squad, leaving his family in the Algarve.
