Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger shouted ‘Forza Roma sempre’ after the Blues’ Champions League victory.

The Germany international spent two seasons at the Stadio Olimpico between 2015 and 2017.

He played 72 games in a Roma shirt, scoring two goals, but failing to win any trophy.

When a Sky Sport correspondent asked him to salute Italy after Chelsea’s Champions League win, he replied by screaming ‘Forza Roma sempre’ to the camera.

Two days ago,  he revealed what Daniele De Rossi had done during a Rome derby where a Lazio fan had racially abused him.

Rudiger joined Chelsea from the Giallorossi in a €39m deal in 2017.

Roma congratulated both him and Emerson Palmieri on winning the Champions League.
