The Scudetto race is wide open, so we look at the remaining fixtures for Milan, Inter and Napoli in Serie A this season, divided by just two points with a game in hand for the Nerazzurri.

Following this weekend’s results, Milan sit on top with 68 points, followed by Inter and Napoli both on 66.

However, while the Rossoneri and Partenopei have played 32 rounds, Inter still have to face Bologna in a rescheduled tie that is set for April 27.

It is also worth noting that Inter and Milan will go head-to-head on April 19 in the Coppa Italia semi-final after the first leg ended 0-0.

Consequently, one of these two teams will face either Juventus or Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia Final on May 11 – which is between Serie A Week 36 and 37.

7 thought on “Scudetto race: Milan, Inter and Napoli remaining fixtures”
  1. Milan are done. No way they are getting all the wins when the last 5 games are against sides in form and at the upper end of the table. Easy win for Inter and if all else fails they can call on VAR.

  2. Milan comeon, They can’t complain any var or Referees man.
Calciopoli teams only can they do is knocking their head that’s it.

    Pioli do Pioli’s job.
Falling at the end whole his career.
    Not surprise at all.

  3. Have to admit that IMHO, Inter (1st) and Napoli (2nd) as final standings of Serie A season 21/22 is the most likely outcome of the remaining fixtures.

I am really excited and hoping that I am right.

  4. @Luke Milan is a calciopoli team! Deducted 30 pionts in 2005/2006 so know your facts before you comment. Then not to mention Totonero scandal when Milan was relegated to Serie B for match fixing.

  5. No games are won on paper or a fixture list…18 pts up for grabs.

Teams and players can quickly go into a tailspin or have an upswing. Key players can get injured too.

Going down to the wire and staying positive while it is still mathematically possible.

    Forza Milan
