Amir Rrahmani’s agent hints there is interest from many clubs, including Manchester United, but he’ll stay at Napoli because they can ‘guarantee Champions League football.’

The Kosovo international just turned 28 and is under contract with the Partenopei until June 2024.

He was signed from Hellas Verona in 2020 for €14.2m and has been a mainstay for the club this season, scoring three goals in 35 competitive appearances.

There have been reports of Premier League interest for the centre-back, especially from Manchester United, so his agent spoke to Gazeta Blic in his homeland.

“Is there interest from Manchester United? There’s interest from many clubs,” said Adrian Aliaj.

“The player is under contract with Napoli and feels happy there. Amir wants to play in the Champions League and Napoli are very close to guaranteeing him that.”

Napoli are currently challenging Milan and Inter for the Serie A title, sitting joint top awaiting the Rossoneri’s game with Bologna this evening.

On the other hand, Manchester United are only seventh in the Premier League table, three points behind an Arsenal side who have two games in hand.

Napoli did play in the Europa League this term and were eliminated by Barcelona in the Round of 16.
