Amir Rrahmani says he thanked Kalidou Koulibaly for the assist and believes he will get enough playing time this season.

The Kosovo international scored one goal in Napoli‘s 4-0 win over Udinese.

During the same fixture of the last season, he had such a bad game that Gennaro Gattuso replaced him during the break.

“I remember that really well, but a professional footballer must be able to forget and start again,” the 27-year-old told DAZN.

“What happens today will be forgotten tomorrow, you always need to focus on what’s coming next. We won today and now we need to switch the focus to Wednesday.

Rrahmani said he “thanked Koulibaly for the assist” and suggested he expects to get enough playing time this season.

“I’ve always said that a team like Napoli must have 3-4 strong defenders,” he said.

“There are many games, the most important thing is to be ready at all times.”
