Napoli defender Amir Rrahmani has claimed he will ‘not have any problems adapting’ to a back four at the San Paolo and revealed he ‘didn’t think of anything else’ after learning about the interest from the Azzurri.
The former Hellas Verona centre-back was signed in January and immediately loaned back out to the Gialloblu for the remainder of 2019-20.

“I’m aggressive, strong in the air but also on the ground, that’s my characteristics,” he said at a press conference. “I have played many times in a back four, even for the national team I play like that.
“I won’t have any problems adapting to this new defence.”
Rrahmani claims he can operate at left-back if needed and hopes to grab a goal during his time in Napoli.
“At [Dinamo] Zagreb I played seven games in the Europa League as a left-back. I can play out wide if the coach wants me to, I’m always ready to help the team and the coach.
“I haven’t scored many goals, though, I hope to score this season with Napoli.”
The 26-year-old revealed Napoli had expressed their interest early in the last campaign and his mind was made up immediately.
“After a few months, Napoli already expressed their interest,” he said. “They contacted my agent and Napoli was my first choice.
“From that moment on, I didn’t think of anything else, I was sure I wanted to come here.”
