Rossoneri eye Ibra alternatives

If PSG won’t release Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan consider alternatives Ezequiel Lavezzi, Karim Benzema, Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie.

The Rossoneri have a deal in place for Jackson Martinez, paying Porto the €35m clause in his contract, but want another star striker.

Ibra was confirmed as a target, but Paris Saint-Germain do not seem intent on letting the Swede go for less than €10m.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are therefore looking around at some alternatives.

They include Ibrahimovic’s PSG teammate Lavezzi, who was already linked with a return to Serie A for Inter a few months ago.

Another glamorous name on the radar is Real Madrid’s €50m-rated centre-forward Benzema.

In this case, Milan face stiff competition from Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal for the French hitman.

There would also be cheaper options, including Colombian international Falcao on loan from Monaco or Manchester United’s Van Persie.
