Rossi sends Napoli message

Italy starlet Giuseppe Rossi “considers Napoli to be a great club” and will wait to see what happens after Euro 2012.

This is certainly not the first time that the Villarreal talent has been linked with Napoli, as President Aurelio De Laurentiis publicly stated he made an offer last summer and will continue pushing in future.

“The affection and respect De Laurentiis has for Rossi is no secret,” agent Federico Pastorello told Radio Marte.

“Giuseppe does consider Napoli to be a great club. Right now he is injured and doing everything he can to get back as soon as possible, because he wants to help Villarreal.

“There is also Euro 2012 to think about. After that tournament, we’ll see what happens.”

Rossi is recovering from knee ligament surgery that will keep him out for at least six months, so he hopes to be back in shape for the European Championships.
