After travelling to Euro 2012 with a lack of attacking options, Italy boss Cesare Prandelli is giving youth a chance.

“This is a good moment for our football in terms of attackers,” the former Juventus” data-scaytid=”4″>Juventus and Italy striker, hero of Spain 1982, told Tuttosport.

“I really like Roma’s Mattia Destro, but Fabio Borini of Liverpool and Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne are also in the national set-up now.

“Every now and again I also follow Ciro Immobile. He’s certainly another very interesting element. You can see that he is hungry for goals and wants to leave his mark.”

Immobile, last season’s Serie B top scorer with Pescara, is currently at Genoa after they bought a 50 per cent share in him from Juventus.

“There really are a lot of options right now,” added Rossi. “And, although he’s not an attacker, let me say that Paris SG’s Marco Verratti is a really promising midfielder.”
