“It’s a shame to leave a beautiful city with wonderful fans who I really care about, because they supported me from the first to the last day,” Pepito told Sky Sport Italia at the airport.
“But I can also say that I am happy to enter a new adventure and see new things, starting from tomorrow.
“Regrets? I have none. The hat-trick against Juventus is part of an historic game and will always remain in my heart. I will always thank the fans for their support in both beautiful and more difficult moments.”
Rossi was asked how he said goodbye to Paulo Sousa, as the Coach never did find a place for him in the team.
“He wished me good luck.”
