“It's difficult to comment on a 7-0 scoreline. It means you didn't prepare the game properly and took the wrong approach, especially going down so quickly,” sighed Rossi.
“I am the Coach, I sent the team out, so if we lose 7-0 then I have to take responsibility. It is purely my fault and I release the players of all blame.
“I've been at risk since the moment I started my Coaching career, so imagine now! What are my chances of staying on the bench next week? That's down to the club and I never forget I am an employee.
“When you lose 7-0, someone has to be responsible and naturally it is the Coach. I am not firing myself here. I am a fighter and in football you can win or lose. We have done well this season and are in a good position in the table, but this is an aberration.
“We probably relaxed, as this side can beat the best in Italy, but at the same time today this Palermo would've lost against anyone. There is in no way a seven-goal gap between us and Udinese.”
