Palermo boss Delio Rossi has warned his men to keep an eye on Bologna hitman Marco Di Vaio this evening.

“I want to see a determined Palermo side, just like the last time we met,” he said of that 4-1 demolition job in October.

“That victory gave us the confidence we needed to string together an important list of results. This can be our opportunity to prove our worth.

“Alberto Malesani's side are having a great season and Di Vaio has found his ideal environment to shine, so we'd best keep a close eye on him.”

The tension has been high at Palermo this week after striker Abel Hernandez was robbed at gunpoint on his way home from training.

“We mustn't sully the name of Palermo, because these incidents can happen anywhere,” insisted Rossi.

“The player is putting all this behind him in the best possible way. He feels the affection of the club, his teammates and fans, so that was certainly important for him.”
