Rossi expects Palermo answers

Delio Rossi tells Palermo that the head-to-head with Udinese for European places “must answer some important questions.”

Only four points separate the sides going into the Stadio Barbera this afternoon and it is a test of their continental ambitions.

“It's a game that must answer some important questions,” said the Rosanero tactician.

“I expect a hard-fought encounter, as we are facing a side that plays great football and in excellent shape.

“Francesco Guidolin is a good man and a great professional. He spent longer at Palermo than I have so far, but if the fans still remember him with affection then I am happy. It means he truly did a lot for this city.

“As for our own objectives, every round is important and this is no different, but I don't think it will be decisive. I'm sure our fans will give us all their support, as the team is putting in the effort.”

Fabrizio Miccoli, Mattia Cassani and Dorin Goian are injured along with the suspended Santiago Garcia, but Mauricio Pinilla and Matteo Darmian return to the squad after long lay-offs.
