Brazil have officially started looking for a new head coach for the national team and one of their candidates is Carlo Ancelotti, reports detail.

The Selecao were eliminated from the World Cup in Qatar in heartbreaking fashion, losing to Croatia on penalties in the quarter-finals. Following the elimination, coach Tite handed in his resignation, forcing the Brazilian FA to find a suitable replacement.

Reports from the Brazilian media detail how former Inter star Ronaldo will take part in the decision-making process in the search for a new Brazil coach, signing a contract with the Brazilian FA.

FA president Ednaldo Rodrigues’ number one pick to take on the role is former Spain coach Luis Enrique, whilst Ronaldo believes Ancelotti would be the right choice.

Ancelotti is the first coach to win all of Europe’s top five leagues and has won the Champions League four times in the past, twice with Milan and twice with Real Madrid. He’s contracted to Los Blancos until June 2024.
