Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo will learn today how long he’ll be suspended for his Champions League red card against Valencia.

The Portuguese was sent off for appearing to scratch Jeison Murillo’s head and, as is standard procedure, UEFA opened a disciplinary investigation.

The red card itself would incur a one-match ban, which would mean that CR7 would miss the home match with Young Boys.

However, if the governing body decides to extend the sanction then Ronaldo would also miss his return to Old Trafford on October 23, when Juve travel to face Manchester United.

The decision will be rendered by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body today.
