Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been nominated for UEFA’s goal of year, for his strike against the Bianconeri in last year’s Champions League.
The Portuguese superstar scored a stunning overhead kick at Juventus Stadium in the first leg of the Champions League final, with the Turin crowd rising to their feet to applaud the strike.
Today UEFA has released the nominees for the 2017-18 Goal of the Season, and Ronaldo’s is one of the 11 nominated.
