According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cristiano Ronaldo is unhappy with Massimiliano Allegri’s return and his agent Jorge Mendes is in talks with PSG.
Ronaldo’s contract expires in June 2022, but according to several reports in Italy, CR7 could leave the Allianz Stadium with one year remaining in his contract.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports ‘it’s hard to imagine a positive reaction from Ronaldo’ after Allegri’s return to the club after two years.
Ronaldo scored 28 goals in 43 appearances with the Tuscan coach in 2018-19, the lowest amount of goals in a single season in his three-year spell at Juventus.
The 36-year-old was not on good terms with Maurizio Sarri and Andrea Pirlo, but managed to score more than 30 goals under both coaches. The paper reports Ronaldo is now looking for a new club.
His dream is to return to Real Madrid, but Florentino Perez is not willing to welcome him back to the Santiago Bernabeu.
As it stands, there are just two clubs who can afford his signing: Manchester United and PSG.
The Red Devils, however, would need Ronaldo to lower his salary demands.
CR7 is on a €31m-a-year deal at Juventus and the United can’t offer him as much.
PSG could sign the 36-year-old, especially if Kylian Mbappé leaves.
The French striker will see his contract expire in 2022 and, at the moment, he hasn’t reached an agreement to extend his stay at the club.
According to the report, Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez wants to move to Paris and has told some of his friends the French capital is her favourite destination.
