Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is expected to meet Juventus today to discuss the Portuguese striker’s move to Manchester City. Follow the latest updates live.

Mendes arrived in Turin on Wednesday but hasn’t met the Bianconeri directors yet.

According to Sky Sport Italia correspondent Paolo Aghemo, the Portuguese’s agent will meet the Old Lady today.

Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus and according to Sky Sport Italia, Manchester City have offered him a two-year €15m-a-year deal, less than half than his current €31m-a-year salary.

Despite that, and despite being a Manchester United legend, Ronaldo seems willing to move to the Etihad Stadium.

Juventus’ three-man shortlist to replace Cristiano Ronaldo

It remains to be seen how Juventus and Manchester City can reach an agreement for the transfer of Ronaldo, given that the Premier League champions are not willing to pay any fee for the 36-year-old while Juventus need at least €25m to avoid a capital loss.

The Bianconeri are reportedly considering a few replacements for the Portuguese ace and their shortlist includes the likes of Mauro Icardi, Luka Jovic and their former striker Moise Kean.

  1. Time to sell him. 31m a year off the wage bill and hopefully get a good fee before his deal runs out.
Great player, but time to sell. Not sure who Juve can get in to replace him, though.
