Cristiano Ronaldo is not taking part in today’s final Juventus pre-season friendly against the Under-23 side, as Max Allegri sets them out in a 3-4-2-1 formation.

The Bianconeri will open their Serie A campaign against Udinese this weekend and today have a run-out at the Continassa camp against the Under-23 side, who play their league football in Serie C.

Ronaldo is not even on the bench, as it’s reported he agreed with coach Allegri to focus on restoring full fitness ahead of the competitive matches.

Juan Cuadrado, Kaio Jorge, Mattia Perin and new signing Manuel Locatelli also miss out.

Dejan Kulusevski and today’s captain Paulo Dybala work behind Alvaro Morata in a trident attack, with Federico Chiesa and Alex Sandro as aggressive wing-backs.

They will be wearing the new third kit, which was presented today.

Juventus: Szczesny; Danilo, Bonucci, De Ligt; Chiesa, Bentancur, Ramsey, Alex Sandro; Kulusevski, Dybala; Morata

Juventus Under 23: Israel; Barbieri, De Winter, Poli, Anzolin; Sersanti, Leone, Miretti; Sekulov, Cudrig, Compagnon
